Happy Valentine's Day My Blogger Friends!!!!

I Made Whoopie Pie's For My Family For Valentine's Day....MMMMM They Were Goood!!!
First time I made them,I made the filling with Cream Cheese,Greek Yogurt,Strawberry Jam & Fresh Strawberries. The Whoopie Pie recipe I will post at the bottom .I've wanted to make them for awhile...My Family sure was Happy I did : ) : )

Whoopie Pies
2 cups of flour
1/2 cup cocoa
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
Combine & Set Aside
1/2  cup butter room temp.
1 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
Cream Together w/mixer
Add creamed mixture to dry mixture as well as 1 cup buttermilk ( i used 1/2 cup milk & 1/2 cup french vanilla delight--it's what i had on hand)
Mix well,scoop (i used a ice cream scoop) 6 small scoops onto parchment paper/cookie sheet
Bake 15 min at 350 degrees
Remove Quickly from paper.Let Cool on Rack
Then spread pies with filling---ENJOY!!!!

My Own Filling
1/2 400g container lite cream cheese
1/2 cup greek yogurt
3 tbsp strawberry jam
fresh strawberries
I found it was kind of runny I think it was the yogurt,It was still DELICIUOS!!!

Our Dinner One Night....The first time I tried to make anything with Phylo Pastry,I spread some cream cheese spinach dip all over the pastry,then I cooked a mixture of onions,peppers,spinach,chicken & spices then I spread it on the pastry.Rolled it up and baked it until golden brown.....MMMMM!!! It was Delicious,and of course I had too make whipped potatoes for my boyz ;)

Well here are some of our Bathroom Reno's....Lookin Pretty Good!!!! My very talented Hubby & I have done all the work....Can't wait to put it all back together.....

Happy Belated New Year!!! Sure hope everyone behaved themselves on New Years Eve....LOL!!! Once again I was in bed just after my Family & I watched the Countdown on T.V. I must be gettin' old (NOT!!!...I just don't like the feelin' of being hungover the next day) So my Husband & I started to do some painting in the house,our Christmas Present to each other was paint & primer....some maybe thinkin' what kind of gift is that (work) but we don't need anything else besides having all our bills payed off that would be our 1st choice but we haven't Won the Lottery yet!!! We started with the Entry way,needs another coat.Then my parents gave us Gift Cards to Home Hardware & Home Depot,so we started on our Ugly Bathroom....it's lookin pretty good Honey : ) : ) !!!  I'll post pic's later....(the new years pic is from the web) TTYS XO DeeDee
